As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, Concord invited employees across the business to attend a voluntary Wellbeing Talk hosted by Sheila, a Registered Counsellor and Family Therapy Practitioner.
The session was designed to provide practical guidance and support around wellbeing, helping attendees better understand and manage some of the challenges that can arise both inside and outside of work. Topics covered included understanding anxiety, techniques for managing stress and overwhelm, and ways to navigate difficult relationships more effectively.
Sheila also introduced practical breathing techniques and discussed the importance of being more present in day-to-day life, providing attendees with simple tools that can be applied in everyday situations.
The session was offered to all employees outside of working hours as part of Concord’s ongoing commitment to supporting wellbeing and encouraging open conversations around mental health.
At Concord, we recognise the importance of creating a supportive environment for our team and providing opportunities that promote wellbeing, balance and personal development both in and outside of the workplace.
